Everyone loves to indulge in a takeaway every now and then - and it's usually made even better when there are leftovers the following morning.
It has prompted pizza lovers to share their best methods to reheat pizza so it's just as good the next day - and Domino's has weighed in on the topic.
One Reddit user said: "Can we talk about reheating pizza? What's your method? My brother went out to dinner and came back with a whole pizza.
"Cast iron on the stove is my go to, deep dish or otherwise. I use very low heat and with the cover everything just kinda warms through.
"I suppose I could just use the oven but even if you put the pizza in as its heating it takes about the same amount of time."
They added: "I don't have to run the oven which makes a difference in the summertime. With thinner pizzas i like to throw a little oil in at the end and crank up the heat. fries the crust up a little."
Thankfully, people were quick to offer their advice on the matter.
Commenting on the post, one user agreed with the method, adding: "I use the skillet myself. We like thin crust so the hot cast iron crisps the crust and an offset lid helps reheat the toppings. Just need a super hot pan and a couple of minutes to reheat."
Meanwhile, another user said: " I always eat the leftover pizza from lunch cold out of the fridge in the afternoon.
"But this one time during winter I didn't feel like eating something cold, so I threw a couple of slices in the air fryer, because I didn't know how else to heat them up (and I refuse to microwave pizza). Boy, was I pleasantly surprised."
Meanwhile another user simply said "air fryer is the way to go", while another opts for the microwave simply to save time.
They said: "I microwave mine on very low heat for about 45 seconds to get the cheese to start melting. Then I finish off in a hot cast iron skillet to crisp the crust and warm further."
A final user said: "Nothing comes close to an air-fryer-toaster-oven for ease, speed, and outcome."
So what is the best way to reheat pizza? Thankfully, fast food giant Domino's has weighed in on the hotly-debated topic of conversation. And their method is super easy!
Sharing their expert opinion, Domino's explained the best way to reheat their pizza at home using the equipment you have to hand.
A statement reads: "When it comes to reheating our pizza the next day, whether you're using an oven, air fryer, microwave, or even a frying pan, you'll still enjoy the Domino's taste you know and love.
"For the best results, we recommend the oven, as it's closest to how your pizza was originally baked. Pop it in at 190°C for 10-15 minutes and you'll get crispy crusts and perfectly melty cheese."
So there you have it, day-old pizza that still tastes crispy and fresh. You can thank us later!
