
Meghan Markle has reacted to one of her closest friends' baby announcement just days before the release of the second series of her Netflix show. The 44-year-old was among those sharing their delight on Jamie Kern Lima's latest Instagram post, revealing that she is expecting her third child.
Jamie, who is the founder of IT Cosmetics, is known to be one of Meghan's closest friends - with 48-year-old set to be a guest on the second series of With Love, Meghan. Alongside an adorable picture with her husband Paulo Lima, Jamie is seen excitedly holding up sonogram pictures. She wrote: "We're SO excited to share we're expecting our third baby!!!!
"After a 10+ year long journey filled with fertility challenges and miscarriages we feel so incredibly blessed to be welcoming our third little one into the world later this year. Thank you so much for your prayers and love and support."
Although Meghan - mum to six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet - hasn't commented on Jamie's happy news, she did 'like' her latest post.
Jamie and Paulo - who have been married since 2007 - already have a daughter and a son, born through surrogacy, in 2018 and 2020.
As well as Jamie appearing on her show, with the second series due to be released on August 26, the pair have also appeared on one another's podcast series.
One an episode of Meghan's Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, the former working royal revealed that she did not know about Jamie's successful business when she first met her.
Meghan said: "I didn't know any of that. I knew none of that. I just knew her as Jamie, my new neighbour, and she soon became my rocking chair friend - you know, the kind of person could just go and sit in your sweats and cozies with no make-up on and just chat for hours."
Featured in the new trailer series two of With Love, Meghan, Jamie and Meghan can be seen laughing in an outdoor scenes.
The eight new episodes, which will all be released on Tuesday, will feature "playful cooking challenges to DIY projects" as Meghan and her guests "discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life".
