TheGirlfriend, filmed across some stunning locations, has just dropped on Prime Video and the raunchy psychological thriller is based on the book of the same name by Michelle Frances.
The story follows Laura, a wife and mother who seemingly has it all until her beloved son brings back a new girlfriend, Cherry.
Laura is immediately suspicious of Cherry and becomes convinced she is hiding something- but is she just being too over-protective?
The six-episode series is set to keep viewers guessing as they learn to understand how truth is a matter of perspective.

Laura is a wealthy wife and mother who owns multiple art galleries across London.
She is played by Robin Wright, a 59-year-old actress, producer and director known for her roles in Santa Barbara, Forrest Gump and The Princess Bride.
The star has two children with her ex-husband, actor Sean Penn.
She said of the mother-son bond in the series: "Laura's very overprotective and she doesn't want to lose him, especially to a girl that she has suspicions about.
"That’s what this show is about, it’s finding out if Cherry [Olivia Cooke] is who she really says she is to Daniel."
Cherry Laine - Olivia CookeCherry has had a very different upbringing to Laura, coming from a working-class family.
She captivates people with her charm and sense of fun, but, wrong her in any way, and she goes for the jugular.
Cherry is played by Olivia Cooke, a 31-year-old English actress known for playing Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon.
She is also known for starring as Emma Decody in Bates Motel and spy Sidonie “Sid” Baker in Slow Horses.
Daniel has had a hugely privileged life with his mother Laura, but he also has a good heart.
He is played by Laurie Davidson, a 33-year-old actor who played a young William Shakespeare in the 2017 TNT television series Will.
He also starred as Mr Mistoffelees in the film Cats, based on Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical.
The star said of his latest role: "There's a real warmth to him which I like. When I read it, I thought this is going to be fun, not in a kind of egotistical way, but just the idea of these two women battling for his affections felt equal parts challenging and exciting."
Howard Sanderson - Waleed ZuaiterHoward is Laura's husband and successful businessman, who is played by Waleed Zuaiter, a 54-year-old Palestinian-American actor and producer.
He is known for his roles in Gangs of London and Baghdad Central.
Isabella - Tanya MoodieIsabella is Laura's best friend in the series and she is played by Tanya Moodie, a 53-year-old British–Canadian actor and producer.
She is best known for her roles in Motherland and Silo.
She has a daughter and was married to a yoga teacher before they separated.
Brigitte is Isabella's daughter and one of Daniel's childhood friends, and she is played by Shalom Brune-Franklin.
The 31-year-old British-Australian actress is known for her roles in Our Girl, The Tourist and The Assassin.
She starred as DC Chloe Bishop in all seven episodes of Line of Duty season six.
Tracey - Karen HenthornTracey is Cherry's mum and she will go to great lengths to protect her daughter.
She is played by Karen Henthorn, a 62-year-old British actress known for playing Julie Haye in EastEnders.
She also starred as Teresa Bryant in Coronation Street.
Lilith - Anna ChancellorLilith is a close friend of Laura's and she is played by Anna Chancellor, a 60-year-old English actress.
She is best known for her roles in The Hour, The Crown, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Hotel Portofino.
She is the cousin of model Cecilia Chancellor, and her brother Edward is a financial historian and finance journalist.
