BSF: Eligible candidates will be selected for these 3588 posts, application process has started, see details

Border Security Force (BSF) has issued a notification for recruitment to 3588 posts of Constable Tradesman. A total of 3406 posts are vacant for male candidates in the recruitment. Out of this, there are 1325 posts for General, 318 for EWS, 932 for OBC, 548 for SC, and 283 for ST. 182 posts are vacant for women. Out of this, there are 76 posts for General, 14 for EWS, 50 for OBC, 29 for SC, and 13 for ST. The online application process has started on Saturday (26 July). The last date is 24 August. Candidates can fill out the form by visiting http://rectt.bsf.gov.in/.

Candidates must have passed the 10th from a recognized board. Along with this, there should be an ITI certificate or work experience in related trades such as cook, washerman, barber, sweeper, tailor, plumber, painter, etc. Age should be between 18 and 25 years on 24 August 2025. SC / ST will get 5 years and OBC will get 3 years' relaxation. Women and Divyang candidates have also been given relief.

Talking about the application fee, it has been fixed at Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. The application is completely free for SC, ST, Women, and Divyang categories.

This is how the selection will be done, and this much will be given.

First of all, there will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). After this, the candidates will have to give a written test of 100 marks in which objective-type questions will be asked. Then there will be a test of the related trade, and finally, the final selection will be done through document verification and a medical test. Under Pay Scale Level-3, the salary will be from Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 per month. Along with this, all the allowances given by the Central Government will also be available.
